By using our services or making a booking, you agree to these Terms. If you do not accept them, you must not use our platform.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend saving or printing a copy for your records.

Definitions

  • “we”, “us”, “our” – Bookingenie Ltd, registered in Quatre Bornes, Mauritius.
  • “our Group of Companies” – Bookingenie Ltd and its subsidiaries/affiliates.
  • “our Partners” – Affiliated or co-branded sites through which we offer services.
  • “our Service” – Our website, apps, and online tools.
  • “Travel Provider” – Supplier of the travel services offered on our platform.
  • “Travel Services” – Services such as accommodation or other travel-related bookings.
  • “you” – The user, traveler, or customer using our Service

  • You must accept these policies before booking. Violations may lead to cancellation or loss of payments.
  • Some Travel Providers may be individuals (non-professionals); consumer law may not apply in these cases

  • We do not list all available travel options; other channels may offer similar services.

Your Obligations

By using our Service, you confirm:

  • You are 18 or older and legally able to enter into contracts.
  • You use the platform lawfully and personally.
  • All information you provide is accurate and current.
  • You are responsible for account security.
  • When booking for others, you must have their authorization and ensure they understand the terms.

Prohibited Actions

You agree not to:

  • Make false or fraudulent bookings.
  • Use robots, scrapers, or other automated tools.
  • Bypass security, impose unreasonable loads, or mirror parts of our website.

Account Creation

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • Your account may be used across other Bookingenie Group platforms.
  • Refer to our Privacy Statement for deletion or access requests

Section 3: Confirming a Booking

  • A Booking Confirmation will be emailed to you after your booking is completed.
  • If you do not receive it within 24 hours, please contact us at bookingenie.com

Section 4: Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy

A. Identifying the Booking Channel

  • Direct Booking: Confirmation from Bookingenie.com — our policies apply.
  • Affiliate Booking: If branding shows Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, etc. — their policies apply

  • Cancellations and refunds are governed by the affiliate’s policies.
  • Bookingenie cannot modify or override third-party policies.
  • You must manage changes via the affiliate platform.

A2. Payment Policies for Bookingenie.com

By booking directly, you agree to:

  • The Service Provider’s terms, including:
    • Cancellation rules
    • Security deposits
    • Group booking policies
    • Payment methods and deadlines
  • Review policies during booking, on provider pages, and in your confirmation

A4. Cancellation and No-Show Fees

  • Fees depend on the Service Provider’s policy.
  • These are visible during booking and in your confirmation

A5. Free Cancellation

  • Some bookings offer free cancellation up to a deadline.
  • Others may be non-refundable.
  • Always check terms during booking

A6. Advance Payment and Balance Collection

  • If you pay a deposit, the Service Provider may cancel the booking if the balance is not paid by the due date.
  • Non-refundable deposits may be lost if payment is incomplete.
  • Ensure your payment details are correct and funds available

A7. Timeliness of Arrival

  • Contact the Service Provider if you’ll be late.
  • You are responsible for being on time. Late arrivals may lead to penalties or cancellations

A8. Group Bookings

  • The person making the booking is responsible for:
    • The entire group’s behavior.
    • Sharing personal data with us as needed for the booking.
    • Ensuring group members understand and follow provider rules

B. Standard Cancellation Policy (Direct Bookings Only)

  • Free Cancellation: Available if canceled within the specified window (24–72 hours before check-in).
  • Non-Refundable Rates: No refunds if canceled or no-show.
  • Late Cancellations/No-Shows: May be charged the full booking amount

C. Refund Policy (Direct Bookings Only)

  • Full Refunds: For eligible cancellations within the free window.
  • Processing Time: Usually within 7–10 business days.
  • Partial Refunds: May apply outside the free window based on the property’s policy.
  • Non-Refundable: No refund unless in extraordinary circumstances.

Credit Card Refunds

  • Processing depends on your credit card issuer and may take extra time

D. Special Circumstances & Exceptions

We may provide flexibility in the following situations:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions or health crises

For direct bookings, we will work with providers to offer options whenever possible.

E. How to Cancel or Modify Your Booking

  • Affiliate Bookings: Cancel or modify through the affiliate’s platform (e.g., Booking.com).
  • Direct Bookings: Use your Bookingenie.com account or the link in your confirmation email.

Bookings through third-party platforms are governed by those platforms’ terms. Bookingenie.com cannot alter them.

Section 5: Third-Party Booking Services

If you are redirected to a third-party service (e.g., for car rental or flights), those bookings are separate from Bookingenie Ltd. We are not liable for third-party services. However, we may offer refunds if services are not performed due to our insolvency.
